Nagabhushana, a Kannada actor, is currently managing his career by juggling between playing lead roles and character/supporting roles. He reflects on his early days in the industry, where he took up any role offered to him and put in his best effort to prove his talent. According to him, the success of a film plays a crucial role in an actor's growth. He highlights two successful movies, "Ikkat" and "Badava Rascal," which marked a turning point in his career. Last year, being part of hit films like "Daredevil Musthafa," "Kousalya Supraja Rama," and "Tagaru Palya" further boosted his confidence as an actor. Nagabhushana prefers to be seen as an actor who performs comedy rather than just a comedian, as it allows him more room for creative expression. He believes in adding his touch to the dialogues to make his delivery more natural, although he respects directors' preferences for exact dialogue delivery.Neither for me nor for them, the film did not work out. It's crucial for us to understand when to act and when not to. For example, in Badava Rascal, I simply had to be myself, which suited the role perfectly. However, in Ikkat, a more exaggerated acting style was required.
"All my focus is now on my upcoming film, Vidyapati." Vidyapati is a significant project for me in which I play the lead role once again. It's a big-budget film, and the pressure of being the leading actor makes me a bit anxious. Nevertheless, I believe in the story and that it will entertain the audience with its surprises. Additionally, I have a supporting role in Anna From Mexico, which allows me to showcase another facet of my acting skills.
"I am grateful for being so busy." Lately, I have been extremely occupied, and I am thankful for it. I haven't had a day off in a month, but I am not complaining. This lifestyle change happened after getting married earlier this year. While being single, I could come and go as I pleased, but now I rush home after work knowing that someone is eagerly waiting for me.
